About
Brandon Dover is an indie developer who graduated from George Mason University with a BFA in Computer Game Design, and is looking to begin a career as a Game Designer or QA Tester.
Brandon believes that games are a great medium for telling stories and providing memorable experiences to players. He has a keen interest in the future of the games industry and is open to traveling abroad for work. As of late, he has been honing his software testing skills.
Brandon spent his time at GMU in the Game Analysis and Design Interest Group club. GADIG seeks to simulate the experience of working in a development studio with different teams based on the roles seen in the industry. This has allowed Brandon to collaborate with others on a much larger scale than group projects and develop key interpersonal skills that are necessary for game development.
Brandon spends his free time either playing games or researching topics of interest. His favorite genres are RPG and FPS but plays different genres as well. Historical fantasy is his favorite setting, and he enjoys learning about the postclassical period of history as a secondary hobby. He hopes to apply the same passion for history and research to his work.
Brandon is ready and willing to relocate to begin his career.
